The Hobart EDGE-1 12" medium
duty slicer has an anodized
aluminum finish with a
rounded surface that resists
tarnishing, rusting, peeling,
and cracking. The EDGE-1
features include a 1/3 HP
knife drive motor, removable
carriage and gauge plate
interlocks and a poly-V belt
drive system. The EDGE-1 also
has a top-mounted, borazon
stone sharpener, rear-mounted
meat grip and a permanently-
mounted ring guard. There is
a 12" hollow ground carbon
steel knife on the EDGE-1,
along with an anodized,
aluminum knife cover. Lastly,
a removable rear deflector,
cleaning leg, and 6' cord and
plug come standard with the
EDGE-1. The carriage of the
EDGE-1 will take food up to 7
1/4" in width or 7 3/4"
diameter. The EDGE-1 has
overall dimensions of 21"W x
22 1/2"D x 18"H, and is UL
and
NSF listed. The EDGE-1 is for
those who slice 3 to 5 hours
per day, and is good for
restaurants, delis and
caterers. The EDGE-1 is
suitable for a moderate
volume of cheese slicing.
