Using the V60 brewing method, this iced coffee maker allows you to brew coffee directly over ice for quick results, so your guests can enjoy iced coffee immediately! The long strainer gets filled with ice creating a rapid cooling effect when the coffee is brewed. Rest assured, the glass coffee pot is made of heatproof glass, allowing the glass to expand and contract as it comes into contact with changing coffee temperatures. For added convenience, the coffee pot has measurement markings on the side, ensuring you make the right amount of iced coffee every time you brew.

As with all V60 brewers, the cone-shaped design of the dripper allows the water to flow through the Hario V60 paper filter (sold separately) to the center of the dripper where it has more time in contact with the coffee grounds. This method is what allows for optimal extraction as the deep, rich umami flavors of the coffee seep through into your cup. When you're ready to serve your iced coffee, the plastic strainer is easily removed and a lid is provided to keep anything from accidentally falling into the pot. Plus, the black ribbed handle provides a firm grip for steady handling.
