R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.

This Excellence EURO-10HC flat top display freezer features a low profile design for greater visibility with a one piece lid frame. The unit's heat-reflective glass lids and insulating galvanized stainless steel interior provide energy efficiency to help cut down on energy consumption. A set of 4 casters provide easy mobility when cleaning or performing maintenance, including two standard and two with locking brakes.

This ice cream freezer has a 1/4 hp compressor that runs on the eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to maintain a temperature range between -15 and 25 degrees Fahrenheit. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. To optimize your use of internal storage, this model can accommodate up to 4 baskets (sold separately) that hang comfortably from the lip of the inner rim just beneath the sliding doors.
