The Delfield T5 ConvoChill blast chiller / blast freezer quickly and efficiently cools your food through the temperature danger zone to protect meats, fish, and other foods from bacteria that cause food-borne illness. Its chill cycle can cool up to 44 lbs. of food from 200 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit in just 90 minutes, and its freeze cycle can freeze up to 26 lbs. of food from 200 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit in 240 minutes (4 hours).
This blast chiller / blast freezer features chrome plated racks that can accommodate up to five 12" x 20" x 2 1/2" full size pans. To help you better implement your HACCP plan, the T5 ConvoChill blast chiller has an on-board integral printer that records dates, temperatures, and times of different cycles so that you can track how long it takes certain foods to cool or freeze. A bottom-mounted control panel lets you program up to 99 specific settings to better chill different sizes, amounts, and types of food, and a single core probe measures and relays accurate internal temperature readings to ensure that your food stays at the correct temperatures at all times. This unit also has a time chill option, which cools contents based on a time limit, and a temperature chill option, which cools contents to a specified temperature.
The interior and exterior of the Delfield T5 are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel with 5" adjustable legs. The powerful, bottom mounted 3/4 hp compressor circulates eco-friendly R404A refrigerant. UL Listed. Please consult the Specification Sheet for additional details.

This blast chiller in expensive, but it is absolutely worth the price. I use it as a hardening cabinet for ice creams and sorbets. Works amazingly. Also works great for rapidly cooling soups and sauces.
