This Continental DF36N-U 36" undercounter freezer is perfect for your busy kitchen! It features a stainless steel exterior and interior with 2 solid doors. This particular freezer features a compact, undercounter design that, combined with the low profile, makes it great for maximizing kitchen space where other units can't fit. It's especially convenient for lower-than-average, custom counters, as its 1 3/8" casters ensure that it stands at a height of 31 13/16", as compared to the standard 36".

Each door comes equipped with a spring-loaded, self-closing mechanism that helps make sure it closes properly even when you have your hands full, and the magnetic snap-in door gasket provides a tight seal. The 2 doors provide access to the 10.3 cu. ft. interior, which houses 1 heavy-duty shelf behind each door.

The cabinet features an all-stainless steel construction, made to stand up to heavy use in a commercial environment. With 2" non-CFC polyurethane insulation, the cabinet also helps to maintain interior temperatures that comply with NSF-7 criteria in an atmosphere where the ambient temperatures reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, an electronic controller is mounted to the exterior of the cabinet with a digital display for easy monitoring throughout the day. A hi-low alarm and auto defrost are built into the unit as well, making operation and maintenance a breeze.

The self-contained refrigeration system uses a 1/3 hp compressor and R-290 refrigerant to cool the cabinet. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. This model also features a front-breathing design that allows you to mount it flush against a wall or in tight spaces, since air is vented in the front and eliminates the need for extra clearance on the back or sides. The compressor is back-mounted and easy to service. A 115V electrical connection is required for operation. This unit includes an electronic controller with digital display and hi-low alarm.
