This Chicago Metallic 45020 5" x 2" 26 gauge aluminized steel cake pan is perfect for baking all your best sweet and savory treats. Made in the USA with global materials and constructed of 26 gauge aluminized steel, this pan features straight, 2 1/16" sidewalls that are ideal for making layer cakes and other delights! Having tall, straight sided walls helps making frosting cakes much easier, whether you're trying to achieve a perfectly smooth finish, or a trendy, rustic look. A deep pan is also great for making Chicago-style deep dish pizzas!

The exterior of each pan is made from a thick casting of natural aluminum, ensuring excellent heat distribution and longer pan life. The aluminized material also prevents against overbaking, helping the cake cool down more quickly after being removed from the oven. Simply make sure to add a non stick coating before pouring in batter or molding in dough. Generously smear room temperature butter along the inside of the pan and dust with flour. If making a vegan or gluten-free product, you can use a mild vegetable or coconut oil, and use a gluten-free flour such as almond or rice flour.
