According to the manufacturer, this pump will handle standard condiments like ketchup and mustard, but it is not recommended for dispensing condiments that contain solid / thick chunks, like salsa. Condiments that contain seeds and chunks of peppercorn are also not recommended, as the seeds can cause the pump to jam. When dispensing thicker condiments, such as mayonnaise, daily pump cleaning is highly recommended to avoid clogging.

Designed to hold standard #10 condiment cans, this dispenser makes it easy to get started right away. Simply add the #10 condiment can (sold separately) to the inside of the dispenser and put the pump and lid in place, and you're all set! For added versatility and portion control, the stainless steel pump can be adjusted to dispense 0.5 oz., 1 oz., or 1.25 oz. per pump.
