Franklin is 9 years old and has dreamed of being a chef since he was a toddler. At 5 years old, he told us that when he grew up he was going to start a fine dining restaurant/Christmas tree farm and call it, “Wines & Pines”. He really wants to go to JWU Providence, but that is mainly because he also loves geography and likes the fact that Rhode Island is the smallest state. Below is his submission to our blog with photos that he took with his Nintendo DSi. ~Steve

Hi, I'm Franklin Ziegler, son of Steven Ziegler, product expert for the WEBstaurant Store. To prove that adults can’t always be the cooks or the recipe inventors, I made Banana Ice Cream. This happened when I was thinking: People make treats from chocolate coated bananas, but never made Banana Ice Cream.

So I told my mom, "I have an idea...and help me put the lid on the blender." So I worked and worked..then voila! Banana Ice Cream! So remember that you don't have to be an adult to make something delicious. Here's how to make, the one and only, Banana Ice Cream!
