Backyard Pro Outdoor Range / Patio Stove with Hose Guard - 210000 BTU

This item as sold with a cheap regulator and hose, DOES NOT put out 210,000 BTU's. Our old 70,000 Btu burner works as well. When we contacted the company about their product, we were given the run around. They wanted us to be able to test the BTU output. We had no way of doing that other than by performance. This product AS SOLD with a 10 psi hose, ABSOLUTELY IS NOT at 210,000 Btu. It does not perform or work any better than our old 70,000 BTU unit. Because we can not measure the exact BTU output the company is unwilling to stand behind the product as sold. We will take or business elsewhere.

Our fellow home brewers are so excited for the wide base of this burner. It fits the large and smaller brew kettles. Our brewers love it.

Built to last and support big pots. It heats up my 60qt in now time and could hold a much larger pot. Easy to adjust from boil to simmer.

Excellent burner for boiling 5 to 10 gallon batches of wort for all grain homebrewing. The pot sits closer the burner assembly and the control works precisely to control boiling to prevent boiling over, especially at the initial hot break and first hop addition. Build quality of the burner assembly is superior to some others.

Super powerful! Burner puts out crazy heat. Easy to control. Disapointingly, the paint burns off right away. Boiled a 100qt pot of tomatos in 30minutes.

Excellent duability. Very easy to assemble. States "large 17" cooking surface", but I am using it with my 100 qt pot that is 20 1/4" in diameter. Heats fast.

This product is ok. Definitely a value purchase for the weekend warrior doing fish or the dreaded fried turkey. I have one event during Mardi Gras I use this and has held up well for me. For every day use and a professional use probably not so much.

My experience says that I would never recommend this item. I bought a different one, and it functions perfectly. What a waste of money, and I never imagined that I would come back to this site to write reviews.

So far it's okay. It really holds my 80qt stock pot well. But you can only use this product during summer because it's less windy at that time. I tried using it out door during cold weather and it was a bad idea. Overall it light up really well and am sure it will definitely hold a larger pot

HEAVY DUTY! This is a must when using large heavy stock pots. We've had two of these for about 2 years and not had a simple issue.

Not good for wok use It does not seem very hot (it takes a long time for my garlic to sizzle), the wind blows the flame when it is on high--dangerous!; there's too much room around the sides of the wok, so the heat is not focused; and the heat control dial is on the tank and not the unit. This may be great for boiling large pots of water (didn't try--see others' reviews), but I tried it maybe 5 times and it is not good for outdoor wok use. I need to buy something else.

I ordered The Backyard Pro Outdoor Range. Arrived yesterday; lightweight cardboard carton was somewhat damaged. Considering the weight of this grill I would have expected much heavier packaging. The burner was connected to the base by only one screw, the two others were loose in the box, one is missing. It took me over four hours to put those screws in place with the help of needle nose pliers, smaller screws to maintain alignment, and a phillips screwdriver. That was quite a feat, thankfully I am a mechanically minded man. The manual included was not for my grill; there are no pictures in of my grill. Once I had everything "fixed," I attached a propane tank to it and it appears to work fine for what I bought it. ThI give the grill five stars at this point, but your packaging and making sure the screws are tightened so they do not come out rates a one star. So, I concede and give you three overall. Jim

I am so pleased with this stove! I have not yet tried it, because I have to get a bottle of propane, but it is very heavy construction, immensely stable, and comfortably holds my 26" round bottom, Cantonese wok, with perfect stability and no need for a wok ring. This stove is for my mobile restaurant, and I can see how it will facilitate easy, comfortable cooking. It's a much more robust stove than I expected.

I'm not sue where to put the rating on these to be honest. We have multiples. Some I would give 5 stars and some I would only give 2. The lower stared ones are mostly because they only put out half the heat of the ones I would give 5 stars. Maybe something is wrong with their regulators I don't know. But other than that if you aren't cooking in the wind these are great. We use them for onsite cooking and personally for canning, we run large 40+ quart pans on them.

What a great burner. I bought this for my micro brewery and it looks like it will work perfect. My initial test was on a camping/hunting trip where the temp never got above 20 degrees in the day. It made fast work of the gravy, hamburgers and fried burritos we cooked on it. The other added benefit was it heated the wall tent up extremely fast, even with the door open. I have already recommended this to a few other guys for there breweries and would suspect they will order one for the smaller 5-15 gallon batches.

I really love this outdoor range. It is easy to set up and burns very high. It is made of thick metal and will last a long time. Would work great as a turkey fryer! Love it!

This burner is great for homebrewing beer. While it says 210k BTUs, it actually gets about 78k with the included 10 PSI hose. For that reason I gave it 4 stars. I have no doubt it can burn hotter with a higher pressure hose, but it’s fine as is for me. Great product and great price.

It burns very strong, but the the black color that paint on the frame peeled off at the first time that I use it. Over all, it is ok.

This is one of the fastest and great burner range stove for cooking. Heats up super fast. Loved the durable heavy duty can handle big pots. I strongly recommend and will make another purchase.
