Another item we ordered less than a week before Christmas and it arrived in time to test the Christmas Eve banana bread, How is that for fast service? A neat little tool which saves you from leaving fork holes in the top of your bread when you test it.

This inexpensive little cake tester is an essential tool I'm my bakery for testing my cupcakes and cakes. Occasionally the metal tester pops out of the plastic grip and it takes a moment to stick back together, but for the price it gets the job done.

I love this little tool! I don't use it to test for done was as I use the spring back method, but it's the perfect tool for dislodging any bits that get stuck in piping tips, spreading & removing bubbles from royal icing, and anything else that requires a tiny needle type tool.

This is a little metal cake tester. It works great! We've also found many other uses for it, like poking open sealed bottles of hot sauce!

Great Price. I use the cake taster to clean out my pressure canner holes, by making sure it is not clogged up so the pressure can get through. The hole is very tiny and this wire works perfectly. Will probably purchase a few more to use with my baked goods.

This cake tester in awesome when it comes to checking for cake doneness. It is thin and tall enough for the taller baking pans. It's an added bonus that it leaves very small holes when checking a cake compared to toothpicks. So glad I purchased two!

I decided to get one of these because I had lost my other cake tester. This little thing has become a favorite. I attach it to the side of my vent hood with a magnet and it is always right where I need it. I like the plastic top. My other was all metal and occasionally was left too close to hot things and got hot itself resulting in slight burns. The plastic handle hasn't managed to burn me yet. ;)

Does the job, we use it to test when cakes or cupcakes are done. I do wish the handle was thicker though so it wouldn't fall through our drying racks or get lost in our utensil holders. Maybe even a hole in it would be good for hanging.

We use these little guys all the time for cake testing and many other uses. The price can not be beat anywhere on the web.

This cake tester is much better than a toothpick. It's considerably longer, making it great for deeper cakes, and the extra length makes a lot more maneuverable as well. I also appreciate its skinniness; it leaves a barely noticeable hole in the cake compared to a toothpick.

This is a nice tool when teaching newbies how to bake cakes just right. The flared end is easy to hold and makes it pretty easy to find in a busy drawer or tray.

Better than a tooth pick or fork and cleans so much better. If you want the job done right then you need the right tools.

I just received this and made my Great-Grandmothers Apple Cake. I tried toothpicks but could never really tell if the cake was done. I used this and to my amazement it was 100% better to use. Clean up is so easy hand wash and store in your baking draw. The price! What can I say.Truly a great addition to your kitchen.

These cake testers work great for the price. I purchased a few of them for quick testing on my cakes, beats having to use toothpicks which don't reach the center of my larger cakes. They clean off easily and ready to use again in a few seconds.

I bought this thinking the hole it would leave would be about the same and that it would bend quite easily. Wrong! Somehow this easy-to-clean and very handy Tester leaves a much smaller hole than a toothpick and has yet to bend out of shape. *4 stars because it is confusing for testing doneness in cupcakes with real fruit.

So much easier to use than a toothpick. does not leave huge hole in the cake. Best it is washable and reusable not more wasting money on toothpicks.

This cake tester was shorter than I was expecting but I think it does the job. I'm not sure how well it works because the tester itself is really smooth and small but so far, it seems to have been on point.
