No. It is strongly recommended to allow this unit to sit in its normal operating position for at least 24 hours before plugging it in for use. This cold food well can hold one full size steam table pan, and its countertop design means you get the same holding space and power as in-counter units without the expensive and time-consuming hassle of making cutouts.
This countertop cold food well is fully insulated with a 1/6 hp compressor and R-134a refrigerant to deliver safe holding temperatures between 34 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Its stainless steel exterior gives it outstanding durability, and a convenient hinged cover helps boost energy efficiency when closed. And thanks to its recessed 5/8" legs, this unit has a clean and seamless appearance but will not mark or scratch your countertops. This unit requires a 120V electrical connection.
