Is this pizza stone dish washer safe? Will they be damaged when sprayed with water, like when making bread?
These baking stones should be hand washed only, and with nothing but water.
There are no specific warnings regarding putting water on these while baking. However, you should be aware that large amounts of cold water on a hot baking stone could cause thermal shock and crack it.
What is the maximum temperature I can use this pizza stone at?
Because it's made of cordierite--a very durable, non absorbent oven brick material--there really isn't a "maximum temperature" for this pizza stone. You will, however, want to avoid drastic temperature changes such as putting a frozen pizza on a stone that's been heated to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

wonderful stone! I line a couple up in a hot oven, use cast iron right next to them to generate steam with a little water, and I've got a solid bread oven!

it is good quality and we leave it in our stove to cook pizza and toast sub bread. we bought 2 total, but one recently broke after 1 year.

PS1416 works fantastic. Best pizza crust ever. Anyone wishing for brick oven thin crust pizza at home should have this product. Hint, roll out dough on flour on parchment paper and build the pizza on the paper and place on the stone in preheated oven on the parchment. The parchment works great for thin crust and can be used to move the pizza into and out of the oven. Nice crispy and golden brown crusts every time. Professional.

This is a great pizza stone. Perfect size, utilizes the entire rack space in oven and allows for larger pizzas. Baked perfect bread, and easy to brush off and keep clean.
