It has a large coverage area and it is a medium wieght unit. The wooden handle if use on a broiler / grill unit may deteriorate quickly. Flatop usage it work s great.

This is a good weight for cooking bacon on griddle. It has a nice handle that stays relatively cool during use. It is amazing for slowly cooking pork belly and keeping its shape.

This steak weight is a must have in the kitchen,and you will need a couple. I use them alot. They are heavy and well made.

We bought these as i didn't want to invest in a panini press quite yet. Work well and we use them for hot dogs on the griddle also. Handles do get hot though if you leave them on griddle, even though the are wood. But very nice weight.

This 9" x 5" Cast Iron Steak Weight. Works great for speeding up the cooking time of meats. Just press meat to the flat side of the grill. You can also use it to keep bacon from curling. We have several wood handle dosen't get hot.

This cast iron weight is good for making pressed chicken or speeding up a well done burger on the grill!! Nice tool for compressing pork belly as you cook it!!!

These are great, I use two of these. They are very heavy, and very durable. I throw mine back and forth on the flattop and they keep on trucking. Perfect for burgers, steaks, fish, you name it.

This is a very nice and heavy weight. The size and weight are perfect for everything....order of bacon, sausage, pork roll, scrapple, as well as burgers. Nice even cooking with it!

I use this on the flat top when making grilled sanwhiches. It is a good deal cheaper than other brands and well worth the price.
