Just a fair warning-- this thing may be bigger than you expect. It is quite large in person. The mesh is a good size for clarifying stocks and for making very smooth purees. Highly recommend.

This strainer is great. I can't believe the quality for the price. We've had it for a few weeks but have used it and washed it multiple times. I think it's going to hold up really well.

Just as good as the ones I can find at stores or elsewhere online but cheaper at Webstaurant! Cheaper is a good thing! Great service too! Heavier weight than the ones at the store and cheaper!!! A must for sauces and desserts!

They are a great strainer. We always called them china caps in cuilinery school. When you need to strain a very strong strainer this is the one.

This is a good size strainer for most tasks. the long handle and hook allow it to be secured to most containers. we mainly use to strain the bits of cooked egg from our ice cream base, and it does a good job of getting even small particles out.

I use this chinois for straining stocks and sauces. One side has a handle and the other side has a hook. The hooked side is great for resting on pots or containers. It as not as fine as I had hoped it would be.

I use this fine mesh bouillon/ strainer mainly for my soups that need to be finely strained. It helps keep the unwanted small bits of herbs or spices from getting into the soup.

Really useful strainer for when we do infusions of creams/milks for our desserts. Only gripe is that it's extremely hard to wash out the minuscule particles stuck in the fine mesh.

Awesome product for the price. We mainly use it to strain tea leaves. Our tea is important to us and to ensure the best look and taste (ridding of the leaves) we spent a tad more and go this strainer. You will not regret it.

This is a great product for it's price. I've spent more the double in similar items. It is pretty sturdy and well constructed. I has a metal protection around the mash that makes it stand alone, which is great if you are working on your own when making stock and straining pulp or passing sauces.

It's the perfect fit for my kitchen sink. Mesh size is great for straining meat and pasta. Also great for stocks, broths, and bisque. Very easy to clean. A must for the novice or seasoned chef.

This strainer is great! I use it to strain my homemade soy milk. The strainer is fine enough to remove most of the pulp which eliminates the use of cheesecloth. It saves me a lot of time.

these are great for skimming out soups and sauces like comsome. sometimes if your thickener clumps up you can strain out the clumps with this too
