This 40 qt. stockpot is constructed of 18/8 stainless steel with a heavy-duty, 3- ply bottom consisting of two layers of stainless steel surrounding a 5 mm-thick aluminum core. This results in extra strength and allows for superior heat distribution. It is induction- ready and comes with the cover. This stockpot has a 16 5/8" diameter, 12" depth, and a 1 mm thickness.
