Paring Knives

Perform all of your peeling, slicing, dicing, and other precision tasks with these commercial grade paring knives. They may be the smallest blades in a chef's arsenal, but they're also a vital part of the prep work done in any professional kitchen. We offer all sorts of different edge styles, blade types, and handle materials so you can find the right paring knives for your business. First, decide what kind of edge you want. A smooth edge is perfect for creating even slices of fruits and vegetables, while a serrated edge will make it easier to cut through tougher skin and rind. Next, consider your daily cutting tasks to determine which blade type is best for you. Curved models like bird's beak and spear point blades are great for peeling, while sheep's foot and straight blades are better suited for chopping. You can also pick out your optimal grip by checking out our selection of handles. Whether you need the reliable value of polypropylene, the luxurious look of rosewood, or the ultimate grip of santoprene, we've got you covered! Like many of our blades, these commercial paring knives are available in a variety of colors to help you stay organized and prevent cross contamination. four star for the quality , not for heavy use but it does the job , good price comparing to local stores and next time i will move to something more solid

I ordered these for teaching culinary classes, so they will be used a lot. Although not a top of the line knife, they have solid handles and can be easily cleaned.

For a very inexpensive knife this is actually oretty nice. Not very heavy duty, but good for general use and light items. Probably just need to keep it sharp.

from Sweet Pea's Cupcakery Cafe Posted on

This is a decent paring knife, but honestly the last one in the drawer I reach for. It's not very sharp. I much prefer the victorinox 4 inch paring knife on this site, or even the bulk pack paring knives from the competitor.

We love these little paring knives. We use them to dice potatoes and they work absolutely perfectly! They seem to be holding up very well and when we need more we will get them from Webstaurant. Can't beat the price

    from Toni's Depot Posted on

Not the sharpest knife out there but still pretty useful in cutting, paring and dicing. And the price is great so it is still a good deal.

This is an okay paring knife. I was expecting something a bit sharper, since it is new from the factory, but it doesn't quite cut like I would like. But, it is a decent knife for the price.

This is exactly what it is. A cheap knife. Does't really keep an edge. 3 1/4" Paring Knife #332KP01 I much prefer. Fine as a throwaway, but not my favorite.

from Russell Street Bar-B-Que Posted on

This knife is working out well, but the metal part has actually come out of the handle. To fix it, we used a torch to heat up the base of the blade and popped it back in, allowing the plastic to melt around it. Not a big enough obstacle that we'd complain or send it back, but it's worth mentioning. Stays sharp and easy to clean. Used mostly to open up baked potatoes.

Nice paring knifes, right size, right price. We brought so many of them since we keep losing them. But these are good and recommend it

For the price, I guess it's pretty good. Doesn't stay sharp very long, but that's to be expected when it is so very inexpensive. Next time I think I'd buy a better one, though.

Great paring knife. The blade is sharp and the price is super cheap. The overall quality isn't fantastic-some parts of the handle are a little rough. But good overall.

Has kept it's sharpness, great at cutting some of the smaller fruits in our café, like blueberries and strawberries with out any problem and has held up against rust.

I will be using this 4" spear point paring knife with slip resistant polypropylene handle often. It fits comfortably in my hand, and is just the right size for paring fruits and veggies. The blade is sharp, made well, and should last for years. It will be used in my restaurant daily and would also be a great knife to use at home.

We also ordered a Mercer (German Steel knife), which slices and dices meats with ease. We also bought this pairing knife for breads and fruits and it is easy to say that it cuts with ease and cleans up even easier. It does not stain with the polypropylene handle and is well constructed.

Great pairing knife! The pairing knife has been great to cut fruit, the serrated helps with cutting through the skins of fruit. A must have!

Decent paring knife. Pretty sharp when it arrives, but the bevelling is kind of weird and for the price I would just go with a Victorinox.

from Mike's Mindful Plate Posted on

sharp and small so I use this to cut squishy fruits like tomatoes and small green chilies. It also helps with light slashing of proofed dough.

The knife is ok for vegetables/fruits that are not so hard. Unfortunately, it doesn't work quite well for harder stuff. I bought this knife along with the Victorinox 3 1/4" paring knife and use them both to dice some carrots. This knife has a hard time making the initial slices, requiring more force to push down on the veg. The Victorinox slices through the carrot like a breeze. The great thing about this knife is the price though. But for me personally, I'd go for Victorinox next time.

Great pairing knife! Works nicely on fruit and veggies. The price is superb for the quality knife. I recommend getting a few at a time.

This is a great little paring knife. It's got a nice, sharp blade as it ships and takes an even sharper blade when you grab your stone and steel. The polypropylene handle is easy to clean and sanitize and overall this little knife is very durable. It's also inexpensive, so it'll be easy to replace when it comes time.

I was thinking about buying anther costly set of knives because I was getting sick of cheap knives from local stores. However, I was not in the mood for spending so many dollars on one knife. Well, I tried this knife and I am very happy with the feel of the handle and I like the 4 inch blade because it can be used for almost any job. I did sharpen the knife when I first it because I feel that a sharp knife it the only way to use a knife.

This knife gets the job done but it doesn't feel very sharp. The blade itself is smooth but interestingly enough, there's a bit of a serration where the blade bevel meets the face of the knife.

Sturdy and very sharp. My new go-to knife for any delicate work I need to do in the kitchen. Whether peeling fruits, or removing seeds from peppers, this purchase turned out perfect.

Very small knife that packs a lot of punch. We have used this knife for over 6 months and have not had to sharpen it yet. Granted, we cut mainly fruits. This knife is very inexpensive and very sturdy. Will be ordering more in the future when needed and sharpening isn't an option.

These knives are sharp and are a lot better than other brands at the same price point. I am always hesitant to purchase cheaper knives but these are great!

I just got a couple of these for my wife, she loves them. I wanted something a little longer for cutting apples, these work great.

from Oak Hill Bulk Foods, Inc. Posted on

These knives are an excellent value. They hold their edge well and resharpen easily. I wash them in the dishwasher, something I don't do with my expensive knives.

Go ahead and order a few of these for your kitchen. Great for slicing and dicing and any small job you have. Very good knife.

Economical and easy to sharpen. This is a good option if you want a paring knife for everyday use and don't want to spend a lot of money. The white handle does stain, but obviously does not affect function.
