The Vollrath Jacob's Pride 4781240 12" long red coated handle tong is easy-to-clean thanks to its one-piece construction. It's constructed from durable 20-gauge stainless steel, with plastic coated handles that are heat-resistant up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

An additional benefit of color-coded handles is that they help with the HACCP process.

You can designate a particular color for a specific use in the kitchen, helping to reduce cross-contamination! Concave "Utility" grip ends and gently scalloped teeth are ideal for a variety of kitchen tasks.

Agion antimicrobial technology is built into the handles to reduce microbial growth. NSF Listed.

    When I was looking for tongs I knew that I wanted color coded ones to designate the various foods and prevent cross-contamination. These tongs are great - love the grip, length and the scalloped edge (no product damage) - I use the red ones for my dogs when placing them in cookpot. They wash up great and still are like new!
