Customer questions about this product
- What is the difference between a disher and an ice cream scoop?
- Dishers are designed to control portions of soft foods, such as mashed potatoes, applesauce, or steamed vegetables, whereas ice cream scoops offer the durability necessary to scoop hard, frozen foods, such as ice cream. Both are traditionally sized by the number of scoops per quart that they can produce; however, they may also be sized by the number of ounces they hold. Dishers feature an easy-to-operate thumb press or squeeze-handle design, complete with a quick-release component that ensures no food is unintentionally left behind in the scoop. Ice cream scoops on the other hand, do not feature any movable components.
This #12 ice cream scoop /
dipper comes with a specially-designed, non-stick coating
and is filled with a defrost
fluid that prevents the
dipper from getting too cold
and sticking to the ice cream. Holds 3 oz.

When dipped in some warm water, this scoop will glide through even hard, thick ice creams. It's simple to use, and feels good in your hand.

we only ordered one to make sure it was what we wanted.....we were really pleased with this ice cream scoop and have 2 more in our cart....we are using it at our ice cream bar for our reception.....they look like plastic but were not and they have a nice scoop size...they have some weight to them, but we like that, we want to know that it isn't going to break the minute you try to scoop.....surprised and very happy with this purchase!!!

This is a great little scoop! Non-stick means it's so easy to clean and the colored handle makes selecting the right tool for the job a no-brainer.

This is one of many ice cream scoops that I have purchased over the years. It's the only one that I have found that really works without sticking to the ice cream. This scoop cuts right through hard frozen ice cream with ease. It forms nice round scoops that are perfectly uniform and solid. I would recommend this to anyone seeking a quality ice cream scoop. It will be the last one that you will ever buy.

We really loved this scoop for about a week. After a while, the finish seemed to come off and leave the scoop looking like it has a white residue all over it. It never looks clean. We hand wash dishes at our cafe, so perhaps it's due to a reaction with the sanitizing rinse.

Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the scooper you purchased. Our experts suggest Zeroll’s Ice Cream Scoop as a more durable alternative.

This is a great ice cream scoop for the money. Solid construction and high quality material compared to some other scoops I've used over the years.

I purchases two of these ice cream scoopers. One for use at home, the other for use in our restaurant. I absolutely love this product! Scooping ice cream has never been easier.

This scooper is great! It made pretty big scoops of gelato for us, so we ended up using a smaller scooper for our everyday sizes, but this one worked very well.

These ice scoopers are just the best for an high volume ice cream business. This is for pretty small scoops of ice cream but the other size scoopers that sell here are good too.

After spending about money on 3 ice cream scoopers that broke within 48 hours, we decided to give these a try. We went for this particular one because of the cost. If it broke, we wouldn't be too upset. These are fantastic. The handle doesn't freeze our hands off and scooping the ice cream is a smooth process.

This scoops just the right amount of ice cream with very little effort and it doesn't freeze your hand and is very easy to clean. These come in several sizes to fit all your needs.

The ice cream scoop was great. We used it for Italian ice. It made nice round balls with every scoop. We just kept a pitcher of water near to clean it if neccessary

Finally the perfect ice cream scoop. The nonstick surface releases the ice cream without any fuss or breakable mechanisms like many other scoops. Also, it washes well in the dishwasher.

This is a great handy-dandy tool for anyone who does ice cream at their location. The liquid inside and the non-stick coating make scooping a breeze, especially during a rush.

Finally, an unbreakable ice cream scoop that looks professional. Because of the fluid filled handle, it doesn't stick to your hand or freeze up when you leave it in the freezer. Many thanks to this invention.
