Not just used for straining, but we also use it to filter the oil from our fryer. The long stem is perfect for not getting a hand burnt.

Got this for straining spices after I'm done brewing large batches and it's great! It catches all of the tiny particles and is very heavy duty.

I use this all day and every day and it looks like its still brand new. Great Value price that should last for years to come

We've been using this china cap strainer on almost a daily basis for about a year now. No signs of wear and tear so far and it was a great price.

Love this thing. Straining broth with a nice large conical strainer is the way to go. Mesh is perfect size for keeping meat bits and things out of the broth.

Very well made and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who owns a restaurant. Your employees will thank you, they are very handy.

This strainer is awesome! Perfect for straining our homemade chicken stock, and large capacity. Was much larger than expected. I would agree with another reviewer that this might not be considered a 'fine' strainer, but maybe a medium? Works perfect for our needs, but would definitely not be suitable for very fine straining.

Nice, sturdy product and it's holding up well to our regular use as part of our fryer cleaning process. Washes easy, does not corrode or rust.

This strainer is a great buy and every kitchen needs one. We use our for a more fine straining in which we don't want alot of the pulp to go through.

I bought this thinking it was the buillion fine chinois strainer but this is good for straining solids out of stocks. Not for extra fine particles.

This strainer is labeled "Fine" but I would have labeled it "Course." I'm disappointed, as it's just not fine enough for the job I needed to filter.

This is an every day use for us because we are always making stock. This helps the straning process because we can attach it right to another pot.

In any bakery or restaurant, a fine china cap strainer is an absolute necessity. It can be used to strain anything from ice cream bases to sauces.
