This is a great basic 12 inch fry pan. It is an essential for any kitchen. great for searing in, simmering a sauce or even steaming mussels or clams in with a lid.

The pan is very heavy duty and well made. The aluminum cladding on the bottom is very thick and should distribute heat very well. The only potential concern is the handles being spot welded on rather than riveted. Though the welds are well done, riveting seems to be more secure over the long term. But for the price, it is an excellent piece of cookware.
