The Zurn Elkay 38-ZW3870XLT-4P Aqua-Gard 3/8" 4 port thermostatic mixing valve helps to mix hot and cold water in order to reduce the temperature of the hot water to 95-115 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostatic design is extremely sensitive to incoming water temperatures and pressures, and responds faster than a tempering valve. This ensures safe water temperatures and prevents customers from potentially hazardous conditions. The 4 ports offer 1 hot in, 1 cold in, and 1 cold out, and 1 mixed out, for ultimate precision. Comprised of a durable chrome plated cast bronze body and internal brass, this mixing valve is suitable for both residential and light commercial applications. It has a 3/8" FNPT connection and is rated for use in up to 145 PSI of pressure.
