Thanks to this Thermaco Big Dipper W-250-IS-DPK drain pump kit, you can install your Big Dipper unit even where gravity drain lines are not available. This kit comes with a W-250-IS grease trap with a 25 GPM and 2 no-hub connectors for plumbing connection as well as a drain pump and support stand. The center module also comes with a digital time control, heater assembly, and mechanized skimming assembly, which automatically isolates trapped grease into the grease collector for easy disposal.

Ideal for use in various commercial food service operations, the included Big Dipper grease trap helps protect your plumbing process and works with cooking or prep sinks, pot sinks, and commercial dishwashers. The fully automatic self-cleaning cycle removes grease and oil from tanks without operator assistance, which reduces the time you spend cleaning the machine and prevents backup. With the integrated digital control and interface, you can easily control time and select a skim setting to meet the needs of your establishment. It skims up to 9 lb. per hour, and the compact footprint combined with a 25 GPM flow rate and 56 lb. grease retention capacity make this unit ideal for any kitchen, and especially for under-sink installation.

This unit also features Advanced Odor Protection to keep odors from escaping the tank, providing a more hygienic solution than other types of grease traps. The rotating gear has an oleophilic / hydrophobic skimming wheel assembly for automatic grease and oil removal. It is also equipped with a flow control device, a field reversible motor assembly, and a self-regulating electric immersion heater that has a thermostatic control.

Constructed of corrosion-resistant materials, this grease trap withstands frequent use and boasts a durable and sanitary stainless steel exterior. The stainless steel lid is also fully removable with magnetic lid tensioners and features quick release clamps. At the end of the day, the user-friendly grease collector and polymer / stainless steel strainer basket are easy to empty with a carry handle and pouring spout on its collection container. With an electric motor equipped with overload protection, this unit requires a 115V electrical connection and has a 2" inlet / outlet connection.

This kit also comes with a durable, stainless steel support stand, which raises the grease trap off the floor at the source to accommodate water flow to the drain pump and fits easily into tight situations. Plus, the included Liberty Pump LP-405 is a specially designed commercial drain pump, built to perform in high-head, high-temperature situations. Its QuickTree technology provides a separate access cover for easy switch inspection.
