This Taylor Precision 9848 digital pocket thermometer with its Safe-T- Guard sleeve and housing incorporates a non-toxic chemical compound that inhibits the growth of harmful pathogens, which minimizes cross contamination. It is important to thoroughly clean and disinfect your thermometer after each use. The Taylor 9848 thermometer can be run through your dishwasher or be submerged in the dish sink and sanitized. It features a dial face, F/C button, hold button, on/off button, max memory button and a calibration reset button and a nylon cord attached to the thermometer to wear it around you neck. The temperature range is -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and the battery is included.
