Didn't think thermometers were that important, until I finally got them. Probe (and oven) thermometers make quite a difference in home cooking and baking. I no longer worry about gummy breads because I can go by temp instead of time now. This Taylor thermometer reads pretty quickly, too, which helps so you don't lose too much heat when taking an intermediate reading. I also like that it can be calibrated, if the need arises. Highly recommended.

I really like the pen style of these thermometers. Also, though I don't run it through the dishwasher, it is nice having that extra claim of durability, kind of like a little insurance policy

I bought two thermometers at the same time and both were within a tenth of a degree right out of the package. I liked this one better because the tip is slimmer, less of a whole in the meat when checking the temp. The reason I am giving it only 4 stars is because it is a bit delicate. I bent it the first day using it, but i am rough on stuff, so...

These are great. Such good quality. I love that they are dishwasher durable and safe. They are very well made and will last you a very long time.

This dishwasher proof thermometer is great for checking all sorts of temperatures! Nice for cooking burgers and steaks to the perfect doneness!! Fits nicely in a chef jacket pocket!!

We bought 12 of these thermometers for use by our students during class. I really like that they are dishwasher safe - a great feature for food safety and for students who accidentally wash things that aren't food safe anyway! I like the lanyard, and the buttons are clear and easy to use. However, the reason I'm not giving the thermometer 5 stars is because one of the 12 completely fell apart with just two days of use. The rest are fine.

This thermometer is very handy and durable. The LED light makes it easy to read in bag lighting. The thermometer is easy to calibrate and operate
