Beverageware and glassware capacities are stated in ounces and are an approximate maximum capacity based off of an industry standard size. They are not to be used as a standard of measure for serving capacity.

How do you extend the life of enamelware products?

Do not use abrasive cleaning or scouring pads. To remove baked on food or stains, soak in warm soapy water and wash gently with a non-abrasive liquid detergent. Before use, coat lightly with cooking oil to protect the enamelware from staining. Avoid heating while empty or boiling dry on induction units or gas and electric hubs.

Is this item microwavable?

Due to the steel material found in enamelware it is not microwavable.

What is the durability of enamelware?

Like porcelain, enamelware is not chip-resistant and can become worn over the years. The steel substrate is incredibly durable, but the porcelain coating can chip if handled roughly or repeatedly dropped on a hard surface. If chipped, this item is still safe for use, but any exposed steel must be completely dried immediately after it has been washed.
