Was so tired of the old sifter that we had which did not work at all. This one holds plenty of ingredients for sifting, sifts smoothly, and cleans easily. Very well built and should last for a long time.

I have run a funnel cake stand for a fundraiser for different non profits organizations in my area, and these work absolutely fabulous for sifting powered sugar onto the funnel cakes. I would highly recommend.

This does take two hands, but you put dry ingredients in first, and then sift into your bowl. The one hand sifters with spring mechanism offer the advantage of being able to stir while yo sift, but be aware that, unless they are made exceptionally well, they can be terribly hard on the hand muscle. This is a user friendly style.

This is a good hand sifter for small batches. It works well for making cupcakes where you can pour the ingredients in with one hand and sift with the other.

Great for mixing most of your dry ingredients together as long as they're not too big. Holds plenty of flour as long as your not passing like 8 cups.

This is a piece of advice from a baker's daughter... NEVER put your sifter in dishwasher, or near water. It will ruin the mechanism... just take a lightly --and I mean lightly dampened cloth and wipe around the top rim... tap the rest upside down. Dry indgredients such as flour does not make the sifter dirty. The same with your oven... do not use chemical ingredients to clean it... just scrape and wipe clean if drips occur.. as it is "seasoned"... Makes for better baking, cooking overall without all the fumes from the chemicals. If anything..just use baking soda..cleans it right up and natural.

The Stainless Steel Flour Sifter. It is great just put no more than 8 cups in at a time and you won't have any problems. We mix alot of flour, and confectionate sugar with ours.

What a disaster. I was very excited to use my brand new sifter until I learned it did not sift as much as it threw dry ingredients over the edge and onto the counter with every turn of the handle. The next revelation was that the knob on the crank was loose, then it came off completely, a small washer that I'm guessing was supposed to help keep the knob in place flew off into the batter I had made so it all had to be thrown out. The knob on the handle would not stay in place so the next place this sifter is going is the dumpster. Do not purchase this !

I wasn't going to get a sifter. I was thinking of getting a sieve instead, however with the rave reviews for this sifter, I decided to buy it. I'm so glad I did! It's a great sifter and flour takes no time at all to be sifted through this sifter. Great price too!

This sifter is a large volume and construction is of good quality. The only reservation or problem with this sifter is can't be disassembled for cleaning.

This is a nice large volume sifter. I mill my own flour at home and this makes short work of sifting it. The only thing I've had trouble with is if I fill it too full it will throw flour over the top, so if it was a little taller that would be better!
