It removes cleanly from surfaces to provide for clean, sharp paint lines, and resists solvents and heat well. This easy-to-unwind masking tape has a synthetic, rubber-based adhesive of medium-high strength with a quick stick, which provides the tape staying power while also allowing for easy removal from a variety of surfaces. With a thickness of 5.4 mil and a tensile strength of 17 lb. per inch of width, this tape offers durability while still being easy to cut and apply. It has a 33 oz. per inch of width of width adhesion to stainless steel, 16 oz. per inch of width of width adhesion to backing, and elongation of 9%. Suitable for use in a variety of environments, this tape has a service temperature range from 50 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
