Add earthy flavor tones to stuffing, sausage, and stews with Regal Ground Sage! Grayish-green in color, these ground, velvety leaves have an earthy, musty mint flavor that is camphor-like with a hint of lemon. This herb combines well with rosemary, thyme, and marjoram.
Use Regal Ground sage for stuffing in poultry, fish, game and other meats. It can be used in sauces, soups, chowders, meat pies, and marinade. To enhance the flavor of meats, place sage under the skin of roasts and brush with olive oil.
Use Regal Ground Sage more sparingly than whole leaf sage; ground sage is absorbed faster than leaf sage.

Until I found Regal ground sage at Webstaurant site, I did not know what is sage. When I read its details, the line "earthy, musty mint flavor" caught my eyes as my favorite foods are potato and mushroom. So I searched internet what is sage, and I found that sage is Salvia whose leaves are sometimes used as tea, in fact more like a traditional herbal medicine. When Regal sage bottle arrived at my home, I made a glass of tea with honey and it tastes great. I may keep it as a herbal tea instead of spice.

I've only recently discovered the wonder of using sage in savory cooking—love the stuff and am happy to have this on hand rather than the tiny, expensive jars you find at grocery stores.

Great aroma and fresh! Works well on pork and other fatty meats. Adds good flavor and blends well with other spices like onion, garlic, thyme, oregano, parsley, bay leaf, and rosemary.

I am very happy to have saw, and bought this Sage. Not only is it great for baking but I use it as an oil to help alleviate symptoms of digestive problems. This sage is very fresh and at a wonderful price.

A teeny bit in hot water mixed with honey and voila...you have herbal sage tea. Sage is also great in stews and baking. Good quality and low price.

This sage is very flavorful, and is excellent on chicken! I also use it in soups and sauces. In pasta sauce, it helps impart a little more sausage-type flavor, without adding meat.

Sage is a basic ingredient in any homemade sausage and this Regal brand is as good as any on the market at a great price.

This size was just what I had been looking for, and the price represents a fantastic value. I cook a lot of chicken and dressing which means I use a good amount of sage. This size is perfect for me, and the quality is outstanding.
