How can I best maintain the non-stick qualities of this item?

To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil and wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin. Applying sprays on non-stick coatings can cause food to stick more readily than using a fat or oil. Sprays can leave a glue-like coating, often missed during the cleaning process, which will begin to build up and cause foods to stick. Additionally, metal utensils and abrasive cleaners should not be used with non-stick surfaces to prevent scratching and damaging the coated surface.

Use this Rational 60.73.314 diamond cross and stripe grill grate to create marks on steaks and other meat. One side of the grate produces the original American steakhouse pattern while the other side creates traditional grill stripes. Its reversible design gives you the convenience of two grates in the storage space of just one. It also provides the versatility to mark a variety of product with your choice of pattern.

Thanks to the TriLax coating, the grate ensures perfect browning. In just 15 minutes, it can mark up to 160 rump steaks for efficient, high-quality results. Whatever the meat, the grate is designed for use in temperatures up to 572 degrees Fahrenheit. No pre-heating is required either, so you can use the grate immediately whenever needed. This grate is compatible with Rational iCombi Classic and iCombi Pro models.
