Terrible garlic press. Horrible cheap design that feels like it will break on the first use. Isn't very ergonomic and the worst feature is the black rubber grip comes off when you are using it. There is a much cheaper press on this site that works much better.

This is not my favorite garlic press. I will give it points as it is very durable and can take a beating. The problem for me is the the plunger is smooth and not pointed like the self cleaning feature of the press which just mashes the garlic into the holes. This garlic press also leaves a lot behind in the hopper.

This is a good solid garlic press especially because it has the cleaner with stainless steel tines on the opposite side to make cleaning it a breeze. The only issue is that the plunger of the press could be a little larger because some garlic can make its way around the edges and not through the holes.

This garlic press does a very poor job. The handle isn't comfortable and you have to press really hard. The metal structure only goes through about half the rubber grip, making it too flexible. On top of that it leaves about 20% of the garlic in the press. I regret this purchase.

Excellent Garlic Press, my favorite aspect is that it has a large service. I press a lot of garlic when I cook as I often cook several meals at one time, this really hastens my work. It is very easy to clean and I do put it in the dishwasher with no problem. The garlic comes out at a nice consistency. I have thrown my other presses away. Great, top rated garlic press. Thanks!

The press is heavyweight and you might be able to do coffee beans if you are so disposed. The hopper is large enugh and the holes small enough to get my jobs done quickly. Handles are superior because of the rubberized grips. The counter stroke of the pins is VERY nice to get all of the garlic into the mix and for cleaning. An additional nicety is the movable plunger so that it compresses smoothly. Pretty grand at what it does. Recommended and I would buy it again if someone stole it. That's the only way I perceive a need to replace it.

We actually use this garlic press to juice key limes for our pies - it makes juicing those itty, bitty fruits super easy. Clean up is fast and easy thanks to the ability to invert the handles and use the pronged backside to clean the pulp out of the holes. We would be lost without it!

We are very happy with this garlic press. It takes the hassle out of mincing garlic and reduces prep time dramatically. The self cleaning feature is a must have and you will wonder all garlic presses don't include a similar feature. Highly recommended!

One of the best feature about this product is it being dishwasher safe. I bought the other garlic press not knowing its not dishwasher proof and the color changed. Great price

I aready had a garlic press...an expensive one. But cleaning the thing was SUCH a hassle. And the grip was "slippery." So I took a chance on this one...far less expensive, but the grip caught my eye. It works like a champ! One of the very best features is how it "cleans itself," The ad does not mention the little teeth that poke through the holes when you finish, effectively clleaning out the farlic residue! So pleased I purchased this.n It is now on my gift list for others.

This garlic press is good with leverage to get the job done. The grip handles allow you to put plenty pressure on it with less stress to your hands.

This garlic press is amazing. It has a flat side that pushes the garlic clove against the screen. There is plenty of leverage. The garlic clove is crushed and whats left stays behind, You bend the whole thing backwards, and there are little teeth that push the remains away just far enough that you can grab them with a fork or even your fingers.

I badly wanted to buy a well-known brand garlic press, but I like this one better after having tested the former at a store. Pro-grip easily takes 2-3 medium cloves. Fantastic quality and easy to clean. For half the price of the well-known brand garlic press, this one gives double the service in terms of quality and ease-of-use.

The Pro-Grip Garlic Press is a good heavy duty press with a really good feel of quality materials that should give us a lot of use.

The pro grip garlic press makes garlic minced so easy. The handles are well made and easy to hold. As always I am very satisfied with it.

I have used many different types of garlic presses, at different price points. This one so far works REALLY great. It is heavy-duty, and has a nice large capacity head that handles large cloves, or a couple of small ones at once. I slide the handles off and put them in the utensil basket when washing the press in the dishwasher, or else the handle retains a bit of water and leaks. But if you wash them separately, it's just fine. For the price, this one is a winner.

This garlic press is great. The grip is great compared to other stainless steel ones. It makes prepping garlic a lot easier than taking out the cutting board, and knife.

A great tool for kitchen is this garlic press. Makes breaking garlic down easy and painless. It also has a tool on it to clean out the little holes.

I really like this pro grip garlic press. Easy on hands and a great price compared to other garlic presses I found. Press washes up great and stays folded for easy storage.

Awesome garlic press! It is big, sturdy, and has bigger holes then i am used too. Which is great because the finer holed presses tend to clog and are a pain to clean. This should be a breeze to clean.
Andrew L. Posted on 02/17/2012
This is a very heavy duty garlic press. The large size and heavy metal construction do all the work, you just have to give it a little squeeze. You can quickly make a lot of minced garlic!

Looking for both a high quality and cheap garlic press is no small task. It was amazing to find a press of this quality, for such a low price. It is everything you need in a press, a sturdy frame with enough leverage. The couple times I have used it have saved me enough time to make this a worthwhile purchase.

Very easy to use and clean- produces larger chunks of garlic larger than many presses
