What is a cold plate?
A cold plate is a metal object that connects to soda fountains, bar guns, and other dispensing systems to chill beverages as they dispense. The plate is cooled by submerging it in ice, and the beverage is chilled as it passes through the plate. Each plate has a specific number of circuits, or "passes," that indicate how many separate connections it can support, and each connection includes an inlet and an outlet. Therefore, a cold plate with seven circuits can cool seven separate beverage lines, and it will feature seven inlets and seven outlets.

This unit features a cast aluminum plate concealed under the ice chest liner that has two full-length circuits and eight half-length circuits. The full circuits deliver four 6 oz. drinks per minute at 40 degrees continuously, or 40 oz. every three minutes in a single draw. This ice chest can hold up to 95 lb. of ice in its bin, and its stainless steel and galvanized structure provides outstanding durability. The top ledge is constructed of dent-resistant ABS material to keep a professional and put-together unit, whether in your front or back-of-house! This ice chest is perfect for any restaurant, bar, or cafe that uses a lot of ice to make handcrafted drinks and signature cocktails, keeping your bar staff well-stocked throughout their entire shift.
This model has an extended 6" backsplash and sleek professional look that you want for your bar area. The tall backsplash and sides help keep water contained to avoid any drips and spills that may cause slips and messes! The 1" return at the top is mechanically fastened and sealed to the ice chest with steel support brackets. The interior is insulated for maximum temperature retention, while a 1/2" drain prevents melted ice from building up inside. For adequate support, this unit is mounted on 1 5/8" O.D. galvanized tubular legs and high-impact adjustable bullet feet. The feet are also made from a rust-resistant thermoplastic for a long-lasting product!
