This Nu-Calgon 4127-75 Blackhawk expanding foam coil cleaner is designed to make cleaning coils fast and easy! This product uses an expanding foam formula to penetrate deep into the coil and lift grease and grime to the surface so that it can be rinsed away, all while producing no objectionable fumes. This foam coil cleaner is safe to use in and around food processing areas, making it suitable for use on all kinds of coils, including refrigerator, freezer, and walk-in coils, washable filters, exhaust hoods, window air conditioners, PTAC, or field build-up systems. And since it's safe for metal and plastic you don't have to worry about it harming those surfaces. The 18 oz. aerosol can makes it convenient to apply on affected areas, and it's sprayable from any angle.

Application should be performed by an HVAC/R professional. After the equipment is turned off and any heavy or matted soils have been removed, inject the cleaner into the coil. On evaporators it is not necessary to rinse since the condensate will rinse the coil. On condensers, wait a few minutes for the foam to work, and then rinse with a light spray of water. For stubborn soils a repeat application may be necessary.
