Musselman's Apple Butter #10 Can
It doesn’t have to be apple harvest season for your patrons to enjoy a taste of autumn in your flavorful dishes—just add Musselman’s apple butter! Made from fresh-picked apples mixed with cider and spices, the apples undergo a long, slow cooking process where they are caramelized under pressure to yield a deep, rich brown color. The result is apple butter with uniform smooth texture and a consistency that’s thicker than applesauce, with just the right amount of spice.
Apple butter originated in Germany, and the process of slow cooking apples and making apple butter became a popular way of using apples in colonial America. Though it contains no dairy butter, the name apple butter refers to its smooth, soft, butter-like consistency and its common use as a great-tasting spread for breads, bagels, biscuits, and pancakes. Other uses for this versatile condiment include serving it as a side dish or using it as an ingredient in baked goods. Apple butter is often incorporated in traditional Pennsylvania Dutch meals. Since it has no sodium and no fat, it can be used as a fat substitute in low-fat cooking.
With roots that run deep in the heart of Pennsylvania apple country, the Musselman Company has won over generations of families with their "Quality You Can Taste" mentality. Since purchasing their first canning company in 1907, Musselman’s has continued to provide satisfied families with its quality products – including this apple butter!

I thoroughly enjoy this apple butter. It is delicious. I originally began ordering for use in my store but quickly began ordering cans for use in my own house. Highly recommend!
