that makes filtering oil simple. It must be
used with the holder/frame, item#
581BF1A. This frame fits across the top of
oil drums and the filter snaps onto the
frame, so you can easily pour or drain the
fryer oil into the filter. The dimensions of
this oil filter bag are: 11" length x 9" width x
6" depth. This filter bag would work best
with its frame over a filter pot or container
that will hold the oil after it is filtered until it
can be dispensed back into the fryer. This
container should have a diameter no
greater than 20" and no smaller than 15".
The filter bag comes with snaps for easy
and dependable attachment to the
holder/frame. Just snap the filter bag onto
the frame and lay the frame across the oil
drum so you can filter quickly and
efficiently. It is an EZ Flow filter, so it can
filter safely at bath water temperatures (10
degrees Fahrenheit above room
temperature), but is able to filter at frying
temperatures. It is great for heavy crumb
loads. The filter is designed for use with
fryer capacities of 28 lbs or less.
Keep crumbs, batter, and any food product
debris from ruining fresh fried product by
filtering once a day depending on the
volume of usage of the particular fryer. You
can rinse and reuse these oil filter bags.
Simply spray with hot water and the bag
will be ready for the next fryer. The filter
generallys lasts up to 1000 uses or for six
months. Just remember to rinse the
filter after each use so that oil doesn't
harden and clog the filter. The filters are a
fourth the price of most paper cone filters,
and they capture micron-size food particles
allowing them to have four times the
performance of paper cones.
