Drain all grease from the fryer and safely discard grease using an oil caddy and an approved used oil discard container. Use the fryer clean out rod to clean any remaining debris out of the drain line. Rinse the fryer with hot water to remove excess, un-drained fat. For a fryer holding approximately 30 lbs. of fats or oils, fill with cool water to within 3 to 4 inches of the top. Add 8 ounces of Tempest to the cold water. Boil slowly for 20 minutes. Use proportionately, using more or less depending upon the size of the fryer.     I like this Frypowder because it is made of citric acid. You don't have to completely empty your fryer to use this and you can operate your fryer within minutes of using this product. Please make sure grease is not too hot when this product is used it fries and sizzles like putting flour in hot grease.

    one bag takes care of an old 35-40 lb deep fryer. It works just like it stated. I tried out one bag for my old oil, and fried some french fries. It sure cooks the fries beautifully.

    If you have a deep fryer, you need this product! Just like the ad copy says, fully cooked at a lower temperature means juicy food, which means satisfied customers. Nobody likes nearly burnt or overdone food. Chicken comes out nearly like broasted.
