Be prepared with this Lavex universal remote capable black LED exit sign and emergency light combination with green lettering and battery backup! With this emergency exit sign and emergency light combination, you can rest assured that your business is prepared. It offers both a large, lighted exit sign and a dual head emergency light, all in one unit so that you do not have to worry about purchasing multiple units. As a remote capable unit, this model can power other emergency lights, too! The remote capability of this unit is 3W. Plus, it comes with a battery backup so that even if the power goes out your emergency exits will still be clearly visible.

This unit features two adjustable, 1W, LED emergency lamps, one on each side of the exit sign. That is in addition to the energy efficient, long-life colored lights that illuminate the word "EXIT" on the sign's faces. Since this unit is a universal exit sign, it can be mounted with either one or two faces showing. This unit includes and easy-snap mounting canopy for top or end mounting and has a universal knockout pattern on the back plate for wall mounting.

To make sure that the light keeps working even when the power is out, this unit comes with a rechargeable 9.6V, maintenance free NiCad battery. There is an internal switch that automatically connects the internal battery to the LED lights for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination during a power outage. After the battery is used, the automatic two-rate charger initiates the charging process to ensure the battery is fully recharged within 24 hours.

This exit sign features an injection molded, engineering grade thermoplastic housing. The housing is even UV stable and 5VA flame retardant for outstanding durability even in harsh sunlight or emergency conditions. Plus, the unit features in-the-field knockout chevron directional indicators so that you can choose which way you want the sign to point. This exit sign also includes a charge rate / power "ON" LED indicator light and a push-to-test switch so you can be sure the sign is operating properly and complies with local codes.

This unit requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation and is approved for use in damp locations (32 degrees Fahrenheit to 104 degrees Fahrenheit). The overall input wattage of this unit is 3W for a 120V connection or 3.2W for a 277V connection.
