Be prepared with this Lavex single face mirror / white recessed exit sign with red LED lettering, edge lighting, and a battery backup! This exit sign with its ultra bright, energy efficient, red illuminated lettering, long-lasting LED lamp life, and thin design allows you to be sure your emergency exits are always easy to find. The battery backup ensures that your exits remain visible even during a power outage.

The 4.8V NiCad battery backup is designed for a long, maintenance-free lifespan. It features an internal solid-state transfer switch that automatically connects the internal battery to the LED lights in case the power goes out. It can provide a minimum of 90 minutes of illumination in case of emergency. After the battery is used, the automatic two-rate charger initiates the charging process to ensure the battery is fully recharged within 24 hours.

Each exit sign features a sleek, compact, low-profile design with a neutral finish that fits well in most venues. Self-adhering chevron applique indicators let you choose which direction the sign should point. The exit sign comes with the indicators and a guide template so you can ensure that the sign indicates the proper direction. The housing is made of durable, premium grade aluminum with a white powder-coated finish and is designed for recessed ceiling mounting in either drywall or a drop ceiling with the included bar hangers. The trim is easily removable in order to provide access for service and maintenance of the exit sign.

The long-lasting LED lights in this exit sign last for years and the mirror mylar sign panel features LED edge lighting for consistent, uniform illumination. Other features of this exit sign include a charge rate / power "ON" LED indicator light and a push-to-test switch so you can be sure the sign is operating properly and complies with local codes. It requires a 120V/277V electrical connection for operation. This unit's overall input wattage is 3.6W for a 120V connection or 4.0W for a 277V connection.
