This model is completely self-contained for efficient, professional installation and safe operation. Each exit sign features a sleek, compact design with a neutral finish that fits well in most venues. Also, the housing is made of durable, powder-coated 20 gauge steel.

This steel exit sign can be mounted either from the back, side, or the top. It includes a universal mounting canopy and also has a universal knockout pattern on the back for wall mounting. In addition, it comes with steel knockout chevron directional indicators and a second face plate so that you can install it either as a single face or double face exit sign. All of the decisions about mounting, arrows, and whether to install the unit as a single or double face sign can be easily made in the field!

Made to keep working in emergency situations, this exit sign comes with a 4.8V maintenance free, long life, rechargeable NiCad battery backup. This backup battery, with its internal solid state transfer switch, keeps the sign illuminated for at least 90 minutes when the power goes out. This exit sign also has a fully automatic solid state, two rate charger in order to recharge a discharged battery within 24 hours.

The long-lasting LED lights in this exit sign last longer so you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs frequently. Other features of this exit sign include a push-to-test switch and a charge rate / power on LED indicator light so you can be sure the sign is operating properly. This unit is even approved for use in damp locations like storage rooms and back of the house areas! It is dual voltage and requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation and has an input wattage of 3.8W.
