Be prepared with this Lavex double face wet location exit sign and emergency light combination with red lettering and a battery backup! It offers both a large, lighted exit sign and a two head emergency light array, all in one unit so that you do not have to worry about purchasing multiple units. Plus, it comes with a battery backup so that even if the power goes out your emergency exits will still be clearly visible.

Designed for harsh environments, this exit sign and emergency light combo unit is made for wet locations. To protect against water damage, this model has a housing that resists corrosion and an engineering grade silicone gasket. Even if you need to illuminate exits in a walk-in cooler or a dish room, this exit sign is a made to withstand the humidity in these environments.

This model comes with two adjustable 3.6W long-lasting, energy efficient, ultra bright LED lamp heads already installed. The adjustable lamp heads offer the best center to center spacing to be sure that your hallway or entry way is properly illuminated in case of emergency. These lamps are in addition to the LED lights that illuminate the word "EXIT" in bright letters on the sign's faces.

To make sure that the light keeps working even when the power is out, this unit comes with a 6V maintenance-free, long-life, rechargeable NiCad battery. Inside the unit is a fully automatic charger that keeps the battery charged and ready to use and recharges a discharged battery in 24 hours. Plus, there is a unique bi-color LED indicator light that stays green when the battery is functioning properly but turns red when it needs to be checked. There is an internal solid state transfer switch that automatically connects the internal battery to the lights for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination during a power outage.

This exit sign features a 5VA flame-retardant, UV stabilized polycarbonate housing and lenses with field selectable chevron indicators so that you can choose the direction in which your new exit sign points. For mounting, this unit has an aluminum canopy for top or end mounting and a universal knockout pattern on the back for wall mounting.

Designed to meet electrical and safety codes, this exit sign comes with a self-diagnostic feature. This program performs monthly, biannual, and annual tests to make sure that the exit sign and emergency light keeps operating reliably. This unit requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation and is approved for use in damp locations. The overall wattage of this unit while it is dormant is 35W for a 120V connection or 48.5W for a 277V connection.
