While it can be wired to run on 120V/277V electrical power, this unit also features a 4.8V lithium iron phosphate battery to function properly during power outages. This battery is long-lasting and maintenance-free, and it is rechargeable for reliable operation. It offers 90 minutes of emergency illumination. This unit has an LED indicator light to show the charge rate and to indicate when power is present. Plus, it has a push-to-test feature to ensure it is working properly. This model comes with a charger to recharge the battery in 24 hours.

This unit features a sleek black finish. It is built to last with an injection-molded, engineer grade thermoplastic housing that is 5VA flame retardant. It is UL listed to withstand damp locations from 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. For reliable use, it meets UL924, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NEC, and OSHA requirements as well as state and local codes. This unit can be surface mounted on the ceiling with its easy connect back plate, wall mounted, or mounted for conduit feed applications.
