Performing well as rolled or dropped biscuits, simply use the helpful chart on the packaging to determine your desired batch size and cooking instructions. To prepare a full 5 lb. batch of 2" (1 oz.) biscuits, add 5 cups of cool water, or alternatively 6 cups of buttermilk or milk, into a stand mixer bowl and add the mix. Using a paddle, mix on low speed for 1 minute. Turn the dough out onto floured surface, roll out, and fold in half. Roll to a 1/2" thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place the dough side by side with their edges touching on an ungreased sheet pan and bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 14-16 minutes.
