It produces 125V, 250V, 500V, and 1,000V voltages to test insulation resistance up to 4,000 megohms. It also is used to measure up to 1,000V AC / DC, resistance, and continuity. It features automatic true root mean square (TRMS) technology for maximum accuracy. It includes both test and lock buttons, making it easy to perform insulation testing.

This unit comes with a convenient stand for hands-free operation. To alert users of unsafe conditions, it has both a warning alarm and a high voltage icon. This unit features a backlit LCD display with a bar graph for easy visibility, and it has maximum / minimum, hold, and auto-zero buttons. Plus, it features a low battery indicator with an easily replaceable battery and fuse.

This tester boasts a CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V safety rating, and it conforms to EN61557-1, EN61557-2, and EN61557-4 standards. It comes with right angle test leads, heavy-duty alligator test leads, and a carrying case. It also includes (6) AA batteries for operation. The auto-power off mode helps conserve battery life.
