For testing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, this Klein Tools HVAC clamp meter is a must-have tool. This advanced HVAC clamp meter has auto-ranging, true root mean square (TRMS) for maximum accuracy. The digital clamp is used to measure 600 amp AC current and inrush current, while the test leads measure 750V AC /600V DC voltage, DC micro amp, resistance, continuity, frequency, duty-cycle, capacitance, and diodes. This unit also has a K-type thermocouple port to measure temperatures from -148 to 1832 degrees Fahrenheit.

This unit can detect AC current with the integrated non-contact voltage tester in the clamp jaw, and it has a dedicated mode for capturing DC micro amp and inrush current. The backlit LCD display has dual V + A function to simultaneously view the voltage and current measurements. For additional convenience, this meter has a built-in work light to illuminate dark spaces. It boasts a CAT IV 600V, CAT III 750V, Class 2, double insulation safety rating. This unit comes with push-on alligator clips to attach to wires and other conductors, while the included storage case makes for easy transport. This unit also comes with (3) AAA batteries for operation.
