This Kitchen Brains® (FAST.)® Scrub Buddy 8-person digital battery timer with automated handwashing reminders not only reminds your employees to wash their hands, but times them for a full 20 seconds as recommended by health professionals. Assign up to 8 employees their own individual key upon their arrival, to promote health and safety within your establishment. This friendly reminder prompts employees to wash their hands every 30 minutes and is sure to help prevent the spread of germs and infectious disease.

To use, simply press a key at the beginning of a shift. A 30 minute timer will start, and at the conclusion of those 30 minutes, the timer will send both audible and visual alerts to the employee that it is time to wash their hands. The timer features a manual and a hands-free mode to best suit your establishment's environment. In manual mode, simply press the key to start the 20 second handwash countdown. In hands-free mode, the timer starts the countdown automatically, eliminating the need for your employees to press their button. After the hand-wash timer has concluded, the 30 minute timer will restart. Use this timer in a multitude of environments like kitchens, bars, and handwashing stations.

For easy mounting, this timer attaches to most magnetic surfaces, but can be attached to an optional bracket (sold separately) for permanent mounting. For installation, simply insert the included 4 AA batteries and your timer is ready to go! Although the timer comes programed to send an alert every 30 minutes for 20 seconds, it can easily be reprogrammed between 0:00 and 23:59. This gives you the flexibility to still promote good hygiene while taking your staff's time into account. This unit requires 4 1.5V AA batteries for operation.
