Ensure safety in your establishment with this Kidde battery operated smoke and carbon monoxide alarm 21027445. This alarm uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke and fire and an electrochemical sensor to detect carbon monoxide. It has a loud piezoelectric horn that emits 85 decibels at 10' away. This is paired with a voice warning system that says "fire! fire!" or "warning! carbon monoxide" to alert patrons of the specific threat. It can also announce "carbon monoxide previously detected" when the unit has previously detected CO concentrations of 100 ppm or higher.

This unit can operate in temperatures ranging from 40 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a test / reset button to easily test that it is working properly or to reset the alarm. It includes a red LED light that flashes when a dangerous level of smoke or CO is detected, and a green LED light to indicate that AC power is present.

This alarm conveniently chirps twice every 30 seconds when the alarm must be replaced. It also chirps every minute combined with a flashing red LED light when the battery is low. This unit boasts a single smart touch button which allows you to silence nuisance alarms, activate the memory feature, restart the unit, and silence the low battery and end of life chirps.

This unit is easy to mount on any wall or ceiling with the included mounting bracket. It is powered by a 9V alkaline battery. This battery ensures that the smoke alarm will still work during power outages. It is quick and easy to replace and properly install thanks to the front-loading compartment. Both the alarm and battery are tamper proof to prevent unauthorized removal.
