Next, allow the grounds to steep for 3-4 minutes, then slowly press the filter down using the attached knob until the grounds are collected at the bottom of the press. Leave the filter pressed down while you pour the coffee from the spout at the top. The coffee grounds will stay safely at the bottom of the press so you don't have to worry about them getting in your cup.
