This Guardian Equipment G6020 thermostatic mixing valve ensures that the mix of hot and cold water is perfectly blended. This valve connects to safety stations and uses a bimetallic thermostat to blend water to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It has a limit stop at 90 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent potential scalding. A built-in fail safe allows water to pass through when the hot water connection is failing to deliver, but shuts off if the cold water supply is failing. This allows cold water to spray from showers and eyewash stations but not hot water, as to prevent burns. This valve has a flow capacity of 13 GPM. A dial thermometer lets you monitor water level and has red, yellow, and green zones for easy identification of potential safety issues. The heavy-duty mounting bracket lets you mount the valve securely to the panel or a wall. This valve has 1/2" female water inlets and outlet.
