When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment G1696 stainless steel free standing emergency shower, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. If exposure occurs, just simply pull on the rigid pull rod and the shower will begin pouring water until it is released.

An ANSI-compliant identification sign mounts directly to the upright of the station for clear direction on operation. This unit is constructed of durable stainless steel and is encased in a bright orange UV-resistant ABS plastic jacket that is durable and also easy to identify in an emergency. Stainless steel schedule 40 pipes and fittings offer long lasting service life. The stainless steel shower head is 10" in diameter and has a 20 GPM flow control. The shower is activated with a pull down rod that controls a stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. This unit has a top or side mounted 1 1/4" NPT female supply inlet.
