When working with chemicals or other hazardous materials it is vital that you have a solution for direct exposure. With the Guardian Equipment G1629 recess mounted emergency shower with stainless steel head, you can greatly reduce potential workplace injury and protect workers from irreparable harm. If exposure occurs, just simply pull on the rigid pull rod and the shower will begin pouring water until it is released.

The recessed design keeps the plumbing hidden for a more professional appearance. This unit comes with a ceiling flange for recess mounting in a finished ceiling. An ANSI-compliant identification sign is included for clear direction on operation. Galvanized steel schedule 40 pipes and fittings offer long lasting service life. The stainless steel shower head is 10" in diameter and has a 20 GPM flow control. The pull rod is connected to a brass stay-open ball valve that will keep the shower head on as long as it is in the downward position. This unit has a 1" NPT female supply inlet and is meant to be mounted in 8' ceilings.
