Grease Guardian LLC DS-1 Details

Improve your back-of-house efficiency with the DS-1 Food Guardian solids strainer. Designed to reduce or completely remove clogged drains, generally caused by an excess of food solids, this product includes a removable sliding drawer that allows you to easily filter wastewater and dispose of it appropriately. It also includes a clear plexiglass lid that acts as a splashguard. This product is ideal for protecting your existing grease trap, and it can also be used to replace a garbage disposal.

The DS-1 is built using stainless steel to stand up to the rigors of commercial use. The low-profile design of this product allows it to fit under kitchen sinks and shelf units with ease, and the sliding, removable drawer means you can easily empty any collected waste. Any scrap of food larger than 1/4" in diameter, such as vegetables or slaw, will be caught and filtered by this drawer. For even smaller items, there is the removable microfilter which can trap the smallest foods like fruit seeds and grains of rice. Additionally, this item is constructed with adjustable stainless steel legs which allow a maximum sink outlet height of 12 1/2". Use the included rubber coupling and rubber end cap to keep your outlets covered and connected.
